I received my MFA in 2000 from the Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville.

For the past 20 years I have maintained my painting practice as well as my marriage and family.

My work has always dealt with female identity.

During the mid 1970's into the early 1980's I was part of the burgeoning downtown art scene in NYC. My involvement consisted of doing performance art, street art and curating guerrilla art shows. Among the artists that I was associated with were; Alice Neel, Kieth Haring, Ed Higgins III & Buster Cleveland of The Rivington Street School as well as Geoff Hendricks & Ray Johnson of Fluxus. This period of my career has been documented in an exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC as well as in the accompanying book by the same title:

'CLUB 57, Film, Performance and Art in the East Village 1978-1983'.

My paintings and mono-prints are in national and international

collections.
